Lapping the Peak: Ken Block hangs out in the mountains with his buddy Mustang

   His drifting abilities make all the guys swoon and his fame does such a number on girls that they forget how to breathe. Ken Block is definitely a master of grabbing world by the pedal world's attention.    This time he returns with a smoke-choking video from Pikes Peak that sets off a new series of drifting mayhem named Climbkhana. For this particular gig (that by the way was sponsored... of course) the bashful driver chose a 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 with a 1,400hp twin-turbo (methanol fueled). Even though the speed is high and the surroundings are just flashing before his eyes in one fast blur, he lets us enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, even if for a bit.    Someone might say that this one isn't as impressive as Gymkhana, but look at those dangerous mountain turns, surely none of you can do the same and keep the car on the road (unless you are Ken's rivals from different Rallycross championships, but you don't need to brag t...

You've been tanked or a story of how one attorney overtanked the neighborhood

   People in the US are quite spoiled, not that much can surprise them these days. Dogs having Halloween photo-shoots in funny suits on the pumpkin patch and drones with a ghost figure attached to them flying around to scare the crowd - they have it all. But boy, were they really prepared for a tank on the streets? Apparently, not.     One clearly rich (and doesn't that mean really great at his job) attorney from Houston decided that a car lately isn't enough for him and bought a real tank. And not just a tank. It was a perfectly restored and still functional M4 Sherman that he got from overseas.    That grandpa has a whole fighting history of going through Europe and defeating Nazis during WW2. If it were a soldier made of flesh its chest would probably be proudly filled with lots of medals. This one in particular landed at Normandy and was used in liberating Paris after which it was taken to Berlin to finish what it started.  ...
